MONDAY 16th JUNE 2003
11 p.m. Arrival of Czech Team in Cork Airport
TUESDAY 17TH JUNE (RTE News Crew in Skibbereen)
1 a.m. Arrival of Czech Team in Skibbereen to stay in
Eldon Hotel and West Cork Hotel.
9 a.m. Breakfast
10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Visit to National Schools and travel to
Glandore in coaches
1 p.m. Lunch at The Rectory, Glandore
3 p.m. Return to Coaches, go to Warren and on to Owenahincha
Long Strand.
5 p.m. Arrive back in Hotels to change
6 p.m. Civic Reception at Cope Foundation
7.30 p.m. Function at CoAction Centre, Rossa Road
WEDNESDAY 18TH JUNE
8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Breakfast
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Training
12 midday Buses leave Hotels for Sherkin
12.30 p.m. Boat to Sherkin.
1.30 p.m. Lunch at Islanders Rest
2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Meet Cape Clear, Sherkin and Heir Islanders.
5.30 p.m. Return by Boat to Baltimore
7 p.m. Food & Exhibition Matches at GAA Pavilion, Skibbereen.
8 p.m. Music by Take the Floor
9.30 p.m. - 11 p.m. Foroige Disco - Shane Breen
THURSDAY 19TH JUNE
8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Breakfast
10 a.m. Training/Shopping in Skibbereen
12.30 p.m. Lunch in small groups in different restaurants in Skibbereen,
2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friendly games of Soccer at Soccer Club/ Skibbereen Sports
Centre (Volleyball)
6 p.m. Dinner at West Cork Hotel
8 p.m. Reception for volunteers and everyone who has contributed
to Host Town Programme.
Speeches and presentation of gifts. Music by Silver Swing
FRIDAY 20TH JUNE 2003
8 a.m. Bags collected for transportation to Blarney
9.a.m. Breakfast
9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Free morning
12.30 p.m. Farewell Parade leaves West Cork Hotel
2 p.m. Bus leaves Church Car Park to go out coast road
from Clonakilty to Courtmacsherry
3.30 p.m. Stop for meal at Bawnleigh House.
7 p.m. Arrive at Train Station in Cork
8 p.m. Train departs for Dublin
The above programme may have been changed in order to accommodate the needs of
the Czech athletes, weather, etc.
