Founded in 1923, by local curate Fr John Crowley & a number of local farmers, Drinagh is now one of the largest independent co-operatives in Ireland. The operation has 10 branch offices located throughout West Cork & employs almost 200 people.
Our business is broken down into a number of key sectors, including 35% ownership in the Carbery Group, our provender mill supplying Dairy, Beef, Calf, Sheep & Pig Feeds & as part of our diversification portfolio we have made significant investments internationally in green energy & property.
Our stores located in Drinagh, Skibbereen & Dunmanway also provide an extensive range of home & gardening products along with the more traditional building & farming goods.
Due to continued cost cutting measures, competitive pricing, innovative & strategic thinking, Drinagh remains at the forefront of the retail sector in West Cork.
