The Skibbereen 60+ Discount Card Scheme was launched this week by Skibbereen & District Chamber of Commerce to a very enthusiastic audience at Cara House, Skibbereen. Already over 30 people have signed up to avail of a 10% discount, exclusively for the over 60s, in participating Chamber retailers in Skibbereen every Tuesday (Terms and Conditions apply and are printed on the reverse of the card).
Eligible persons can sign up for a membership card at O'Sullivan's Toymaster in Skibbereen or alternatively the form can be downloaded here, printed, completed and returned to Eileen O'Sullivan and the membership card collected (a €2 annual administration fee applies).
Participating retailers will display a sign on their door/window, including solicitors Wolfe & Co. who are offering 10% off the drawing up of wills for the over 60s on Tuesdays.
